The challenge

How can we grow Bauerfeind’s brand awareness in Germany effectively across very different audiences and topics?

Background

Different audiences with individual needs and digital habits call for a differentiated campaign strategy. The therapy areas also need to be communicated differently to each audience.

Our solution

With a channel setup tailored to each audience, content built for specific segments and data-driven campaign management, the campaign ran efficiently.

The campaign

1. Strategic topic structure

The campaign was split into several standalone topic clusters to reflect the complexity of the content and the audiences. That kept messages clearly separated and aimed precisely at what each group needs.

2. Audience and channel strategy

Based on detailed analysis of digital behavior, we identified and segmented the relevant audiences. On top of that we built a tailored channel setup that makes sure every group is reached efficiently through the right digital touchpoints.

»By speaking to different audiences directly and using data-driven strategies, we grew brand awareness sustainably and gained valuable learnings for future campaigns at the same time.«

Conny Eggert,
Digital Campaign Manager

3. Content and campaign development

For every campaign and every channel we developed tailored content, used both organically and as paid media. Alongside classic video formats we used influencer partnerships and user-generated content to keep the message relevant and authentic.

4. Campaign management and optimization

Budget allocation was goal- and data-driven, taking audiences, channels and campaign objectives into account. Continuous monitoring, regular reporting and iterative optimization kept improving the activities and lifted campaign performance in the long term.
